I've been using AI to help write this newsletter for over two years. I'm even building a community just for luxury travel advisors, and a big part of it will be marketing and AI frameworks. So I spend a lot of time in conversation with Claude.
This week, I opened one of those conversations with seven words:
"Are you up to talk about this week's newsletter?"
No context in the message. No explanation.
And yet Claude knew exactly what I meant.
The Expert's Guild weekly newsletter. Thursday's edition. The topic I had covered recently. The kind of angle I would and would not repeat. The work I'm building right now.
None of that was in the prompt.
All of it shaped the response.

Six months ago, everyone was collecting prompts.
The belief was simple: better prompts equal better outputs. Find the right formula; get the right result.
I believed it too. I sold a collection of 150+ prompts. And they still work; they're still useful tools.
But the game changed underneath us.
A prompt without context makes AI work for you.
You give instructions. It follows them. You get output. It's useful, like a capable assistant who does exactly what you asked, nothing more.
A prompt with context makes AI work with you.
It pushes back when your idea is weak. It remembers what you've already tried. It connects what you're doing today to what you said last month. It catches the contradiction you didn't see.
That's not an assistant following instructions.
That's a thinking partner who knows your business.
The Framework
One project. Not scattered conversations. One place where your business lives.
Tell it who you are before you ask for anything.
Your niche.
Your clients.
Your voice.
What you're building.
Show it how you sound. Paste your own writing. Say, "This is me. Match this."
Then keep going.
Don't start fresh.
Let the context accumulate.
Correct it when it's wrong.
Acknowledge when it's right.
Over time, you stop explaining yourself.
That's when it becomes useful.

Stop collecting prompts. Start building context.
The value isn't in what you ask. It's in everything the AI already knows before you ask it.
That's the shift.
And that's a big part of what I'm building inside the community—practical frameworks for marketing and AI that work specifically for luxury travel advisors.
